Herlings Wins in France
Red Bull KTM factory rider, Jeffrey Herlings has won in a French International today at the Sainte Austreberthe circuit, going 1-1-3 to finish ahead of Benoit Paturel 2-3-1 and Cédric Soubeyras 3-4-6. It was the first win by Herlings in a long time, as he tries to come back to his best form.
Herlings led the opening moto from the start, ahead of Adam Sterry, Benoit Paturel, Cédric Soubeyras and Daymond Martens. Herlings eventually won by less than a second over Paturel with Cédric Soubeyras taking third place ahead of Adam Sterry and Nicolas Aubin.
The second moto was the same story, as Herlings quickly took the lead ahead of Max Nagl, Daymond Martens, Benoit Paturel and Adam Sterry. "The Bullet" opened up a gap on Nagl, who managed to hold off Benoit Paturel and that is how it finished.
The third and final moto Paturel took the lead early as Krajewski moved into second position after a few laps, also finding an opening on Tanguy Prost and Tom Koch. Back in sixth place at the halfway point, Herlings caught up with Milko Potisek and then Tom Brunet to take fourth place.
Herlings then passed Koch to move up to third, before making a mistake and restarting behind the German. Paturel, Krajeswki and Herlings finished top three of this final moto in Sainte Austreberthe, France.
